I dont think she betrayed the replicators. She said she was defecting only because she wanted to die. Which was all a trick to take care if the ancient device that could destroy the replicators. The only replicator she betrayed was in fact Fifth.

She saw it as killing the weak to allow the strong to survive; as in ''survival of the fittest''. Granted all replicators (bug style ones anyway) are affectively the same.
In some animal cultures her decision would be seen as a leadership style choice and it could be similar in replicator ''culture''.
That's my guess anyway.
