    Lord Zipacna appreciation thread

Ok, I bet no one's appreciated this Goauld before . Granted,
Zipacna ("Zippy") has come along way since we first seen him in
the triad episode (just watched that ep). I mean, back then he
passed out after hardly a strangle by Tealc. Also he acted very
un-Goauldish when everyone's waiting for Liya.

Fast forward to the summit episode, we see Zippys positioned
himself as the servant of the Big Bad. Granted, still an underlord,
but this time he (seems) to have several ships under his command.
Hey, not to mention how cool he acts throughout the episode. Hell,
he even brought Osiris to the fold.

Well, all good things must end though. And the end came kinda fast
as he stuffed up a major attack (not to mention casualties) in the
next episode. Also, I'm under the impression that he was simply
disposed of/fired after Osiris came into play. But seeing that he
jumped boat from one system lord toanother, don't be too surprised
if Zippy shows up again in future eps.

Hey! Someone else notices the minor goaulds. Cool. Hey, and my sis said I was crazy. Well, if I am, at least I'm not the only one.

    And that's my two cents...

I love Zipacna, he's my fave male Goa'uld! I love that smirk of his and seriously he looks way more evil than Ba'al and Heru'ur. That smirk! I love his acting. He should have gotten more lines and stuff.

Does anyone find the way Zipcana holds his head while he talks amusing? It looks like he's trying to hold his nose up as high as possible. My theory is that the symbiote is trying to see out of his nostrils.

I like Zipacna, he's out for himself, appreciates the female form, looks like a right upper class twit you could really have fun bringing down a peg or 2, more Zippy!!

*gasp* Why did this thread die! It needs to be resurrected! Hopefully, people will start posting here again. Zippy has got to be my FAVORITE character ever... except for back in the days when the only people I knew were Daniel and Apophis... But now Zipacna's here to stay. Gotta love that guy, with his arrogance, and his voice, and the basket on his head...
                  Ba'am! Let's kick it up a notch...

I appreciated a minor(kind of, considering he wanted to other throw ba'al) in this thread(http://forum.gateworld.net/showthread.php?t=13588). So this isnt the only goa'uld appreciation thread.

Apparently appreciates female clothing too... at least in the first ep. They butched him up in the second show though, what with the cool roman armor and the chauvinistic remarks he threw at Osiris. Lucky he worked for Anubis though cause I got the impression he was about 3 seconds away from being ripped out of his host head by Osiris. It also would seem that he may have died via poison at the end of the ep... but then with the a gou'ld like him you never know... maybe he will make an apparence in S9 working in Vegas as one of the guys who dress up like Romans and greet people at the Casino's...

^^^ Kinda sounds like seasons 9 and 10 of SG-1 to me. Thor, ya got Aspirin?

AGateFan has officially Gone Fishin (with Jack, Sam, Daniel, Teal'c) and is hoping Atlantis does not take that same hairpin turn.

Hmmm... Reminds me of that one CSI episode, what with the Romans and the theme park and... Okay, sorry, off topic there. I actually like the way he dressed in Pretense better than in Summit and Last Stand. We actually see more of HIM in Pretense, and he has a very nice figure, might I add. I thought his clothes were quite a bit too bulky in his other two eps.

Someone in Bridge studio's have got their deities really confused Zipacna is a Mayan God so his outfit in Pretense was fine, in Summit/Last Stand he kinda turned into a Roman-Celtic cross breed

He still looked good in the kilt tho, still reckon he needs sneering lessons from Sid Vicious

Cross breed, eh? I like that word, seems to fit him well. And about the Mayan thing, what exactly did he do? I read in one place that he was the god of earthquakes, and read somewhere else that he was simply a giant (simply, yeah right). A giant of earthquakes, perhaps?
