I was just wondering what you think the x-305 will be? if it would apear in Universe, or future movies. Is it gonna be a real dreadnaught, several km long and capable of taking out 3 hives at once? or some sort of cruiser, smaller than the prometheus, made for hit and run? what do you think?

The U.S. can only produce about one ship per year, and the Phoenix is just rolling off the assembly line at this point. I think they'll stick with the Daedalus class for a long time. Look at the Goa'uld, they had been using Ha'taks for hundreds if not thousands of years.

Stronger, lighter armor; good beam wepons placement (where they have the widest firing arcs); the frequesnt use of tactical hyperspace jumps.

it wouldn't be too bad... slap on both a nig and a bunch of secondary naquadah gens, and you have a ship with enough power untill we can replicate ZPMs.

a NIG? no idea. depends on its energetic output. i mean, 1 trillion joules IS and SAYS nothing. first off, 1 trillion joules per second is 1/4th of a kiloton per second. so a beliskner would produce a kiloton of energy per second. sounds like alot. but if you want to fire a goauld energy cannon [200mt] once, you'd have to wait some 55 minutes before you have the energy to do so?
if its per millisecond, you get a megaton per second. then it stil takes 3 minutes to fire.

so before we get a significant output, we're talking gigatons per second, some 10^18-10^21 joules per second. then we can fire a full array. seeing as the deadalus does 1/4th of that, just add annother deadalus reactor to get the power. as a deadalus reactor=1 nig
