Battlestar Galactica' Tops In DVR Audiences

Battlestar Galactica" may struggle to find viewers for its Friday night episodes, but it doesn't mean they're not there.
A new survey from The Nielsen Co., parent of ratings powerhouse Nielsen Media Research, says "Battlestar Galactica" has by far the largest increase in viewership from those recording episodes and watching it later than any other program on cable (or networks).

Duh. People go out on Friday nights, not stay in and watch TV. Of course it's getting PVR'd more than is being watched live.

(note: snideness of post wasn't directed at you PA, but rather at the fact that this is somehow "newsworthy" for SyFyPortal)

What happened to them moving it to Sunday nights? That didn't work out too well?

I guess not, they did have their Sunday nights shows on the same time as a ton of other shows such as Family Guy. Plus, it was really late, so people probably had to go to bed early for work / school. At least on Fridays it hardly has any competition.
