I now know what you mean by that. In some strange twisted way I'm actually starting to like the guy. It's a bit like with Rush. I wouldn't like him in real life, but I find myself liking him on screen. The HUGE difference between Rush and Hitler is that Rush actually has good intentions (exploration), while Hitler has only bad intentions. I blame Robert for making me like the characters. He's just so damn good!

So far I've only watched the first part, but I'm going to watch the second part right now!

I think the interesting thing about how it's played is that Hitler comes across as very impressionable. As a kid, he's told he's bad by his father therefore he believes he is; he's told he's precious so he believes he's special; he's told the Jews are evil so he creates the monster in his head. Nutjob!

Wow... None of you were kidding when you said that it is a brilliant film. Best movie I've watched since I first watched Serenity, which I first watched in early February. It was completely stunning. Robert and Peter both did terrific and creepy jobs.

Did your copy come with the extras?

And another thing before I head off to bed: why are there no SGU avatars? I mean, I realise I'm close to the magic 2000 but it's a bit rude that there's nothing for SGU at all.
