Through the Never, an SGA fic

Hi all,

Here is my first fic for SGA, having had the basic idea for quite a while now.
It is not intended to be AU, but is set in the near future, one year after SGA as we know it ends. As such, I try to be as accurate as possible which means that the story may be altered slightly as new episodes are aired.

I would like to see some more. I like the idea of the anternate reality UTSC. I am guessing he will meet up with SGA later on, but his arrival in this reality seems to be set closer to S1 than S5.

Look forward to more details of his past and how he got here. As well as the part he will play in the SG universe.

Just so you know, I have a very extensive backstory of Forrest's Tau'ri, from the structure of their political system to the types of shotgun shells they use.

Chapter 5 will be up soon, I just need time to finish the end of the part, then start the next.

thats how I do it. formulate an idea but let my brain organize it. I often have dreams that are almost perfect for a story.

Aye, having lots of time to let the ideas ferment into something sweet is always good. I always try to visualise every aspect of a scene or moment before writing- having said that converting from a visual media to the written word is not easy.

Though I wish I could write fast, in fact I wrote those chapters quite a few weeks ago now . I guess I don't want to release it all in one big chunk.

May I present Chapter 5, the longest chapter yet. Contains some spoilers for season 4-onwards. I've also decided to extend this part of the story to 7 chapters as opposed to the original 6 (there's some sinister wraith shenanigans that need to be explained)

Good work...I am curious where you are taking this. One thing about ch6. The use of FUBAR. really out of character for pretty much everyone that used it. YOu may get away with it once from Shepard, but the rest of the team would not use it normally. Besides that good chapter.
