Just wondering, shouldn't atlantis check for michael's body, he could have landed in the water and lived. It would only be logical to find it and make sure he was dead. If he wasn't, he could find a way into atlantis and take revenge on teyla..... ATLANTIS IS NO LONGER SAFE!!!!!

If hit the ground from that far up, there would be no body. There would be impact paste.

He probably wouldn't survive a water impact from that high either. There's a limit to how fast you're going when you smack into it that's survivable. Michael would be going faster than that.

The Control Tower is a loooong way up! Michael can't have survived, even if he did land in the water. I'm sure that part of the ocean is red by now.

But no matter how regenerative his abilities are, from that height it is impossible for him to survive.

Where did Ford fall from?

He still lived!

Ford was a lot lower down, plus he had better character shields.

Where did Ford fall from?

He still lived!

Three reasons why Ford survived.

1. The Wraith landed in the water first, serving as a sort of "cushion"

2. The Wraith was feeding on Ford and when it died on impact, it released an ungodly amount of enzyme into Ford's system--enzyme that is used to keep the victim alive so that the Wraith may feed for longer.

3. Ford was A LOT lower than from where Michael fell.

hey,

maybe Michael fed on himself just like that Wraith was feeding on Ford?

Or maybe Micheal pulled out his Acme Giant Bike O Copter and flew away!

Hmm...interesting!!

But I can't quite believe that Michael's completely dead - this is Sci fi after all!! Though I'd be very happy if he is gone! Finally!

*switches to black American accent* As my man James Carter said in Rush Hour..."Man...you know he dead".

*switches back to normal voice* As other people have said, he fell from too far up!

There is no way he could have survived a fall like that!
And they probably look for the body off-screan, or would you like too see some kind bodypaste on TV!?

Didn't think so.

In sci fi nobody is dead. He probably cloned himself

However, he is still part wraith. They are more resilliant. It would be irresponsible to not serch for his body.

I can buy that they searched for him off screen but I would feel more confident in saying that he's dead if they had mentioned finding a body or "body paste". The generic, "Michael's gone" leaves him open to reappear. Or it would if the show was still being filmed.

I hope and pray he comes back. He must have clonned himself. He was a scientific genius. Come on guys, he will be back. The character had so much more potential. I must admit I think they rushed this episode and the whole of season 5.

I've always wondered what would happen if a Wraith would try to feed himself.

Michael is dead. He could not have survived that fall. He didn't simply fall off a pier into the water. He fell from the top of the central tower. He's street pizza!
