For all you x-philies out there i'm sure you know the connection, but for those who don't: William is agent Skully's son and is an alien-human hybrid, and the aliens want him so that they can sreate a slave race while michael wants pretty much the same thing with Torren (nevermind the name of the thread, was a typo .)

It's Torren, not Tagan, but I can see the similarity.

Great connection! Yeah, his name is Torren John. not tagan (though teyla mention's in Rising that she is 'daughter of Tagan') anyway, yeah, I could agree with that assessment.

But, there are distinct differences, too... I mean, William was the product of Mulder and Scully FINALLY resolving the years of sexual tension

Teyla's child was not immediately connected to the rest of the team... still... food for thought.

sorry about the wrong name, i'll change it. i forgot his name and so i looked at the omnipedia and saw Tagan and i remembered that his name began with a 'T' and jumped to quickly without reading the rest.
