    Asgard or Asgards?

I am pretty sure that the word 'Asgard' refers to both a single Asgard and a group of Asgard, in the same way that the word 'Sheep' can mean either a single sheep or a group of sheep.
Why then do we suddenly have McKay and Daniel talking about 'Asgards' in this episode? I am pretty sure in all the years the Asgard have been on both SG-1 and Atlantis, we have never heard the word 'Asgards' before. Whats going on?

Because even people that speak the same basic language have different ways of talking.
My signature go bye-bye, Lindbergh is sad.

Thor uses "Asgard" as plural several times in "Unending": "Several Asgard...", "Many Asgard..."

I'd chalk this one up to sloppy writing.

I never noticed while watching, but you're right to say that it's a mistake to say Asgards.

Almost as annoying as people who spell Asgard as "Asguard".
What's the deal with the retardedly huge sigs?!
