In need of advice

I'm writing an angsty, Sam/Jack shippy story and have come to the point where the end is decided. Now, I can't decide whether I want there to be a kiss or not.
I like the fic a lot without there being any kissing but at the same time...
I think you can see the dilemma.

Angst with ship = RST...

What about, instead of a kiss, a confession (if you haven't done that already)? Something simple, but leaving the reader wanting more?

Well, there has been a confession. In Jack/Sam mode, meaning, she tries to talk, he interrupts her. But they both get the drift.

I meant it to be more shippy than angsty but the angst seems to be taking over.

I thought it was wonderful. Beautifully written and you were right to use the kiss. I like the way you chose to use it as something the two characters needed to do rather than an over the top Mills and Boon moment.

No the kiss didn't ruin it... You kept it subtle and it felt very natural for them to do it.
