I know this is just mixed up elements of SG1 and SGA scirpts.
I read like the first few pages and I don't see anything about universe in there.

Whoever put that there took Rising Pt.1 and re typed it with Sheppard's name replaced with Nash. I read the first few lines and I was like "youre kidding me....." and closed the window.

Thats 100% fake...
1st Weir is "dead"... (at least frozen, in Fran's Body, floating in space)
2nd on Page 4/5 the Dialog between Nash and Vala is 100% the dialog between Daniel and Vala in SG1 Final Episode "Unending".

It's not necessarily "fake" -- It's dialogue put together to test the actors auditioning for the new roles on Stargate Universe.

The characters named are:

Nash
Weir

with dialogue from SGA's Rising

Vala
Nash

with dialogue from SG-1's Unending

Carter
Eli

with dialogue from SG-1's Redemption, Part 2

Teyla
Tamara

with dialogue from SGA's Missing

Weir
Tamara

with dialogue from SGA's First Strike

Nash, Tamara, Eli are all the names of characters from SGU.

The sides on Showfax have always been available for purchase, but posting them to a website is considered copyright infringement. Some production offices have yanked sides from online services due to fans' lack of common sense, and in turn, this hurts the actors auditioning for roles.

Weir? Hammond?

Two characters who can't be in the first episode or in universe. So its fake, unless I've missed something...

Oh yeah, its definatly a fake

These are not "fake," strictly speaking, but they're obviously not from any SGU script. Producers often use existing scenes for audition purposes, especially when a new show is starting up (and not episode-by-episode) ... and especially if the final script hasn't been written yet.

that makes sense i guess, but youd think they would mix it up a little and not have it word for word , its almost as though they are auditioning for very simmilar characters to the ones who originally said the lines.

they are looking for people who can act like they ARE the person. they used dialogue from similar things, and just edited it a bit. so they can find out the people who can actually act, then write some new and out of the auditioning people, they can choose the character

What do you think?

Those are scripts from prior SGA and SG-1 episodes. Someone just inserted different names.

The sides out there right now are just samples for actors to audition with for the characters. NOt for an episode, so they're looking for folks who can do scifi stuff, no doubt. Apparently MGM does try to get people have done scifi as they can handle the lingo, rather than tripping over the words, or going blank at a green screen ;)

It will be interesting to see if SGU sides go to Showfax, considering fans' propensity for posting them far and wide...
