Replicator awesomeness in Stargate: The Ark of Truth :replicatoranime01:

If the replicators got into the Ori galaxy ( Andromeda I think it is ) they'd cause real trouble. The skeleton replicator was fully sick and it was able to with stand C4 ( poor ). The replicator spider just fell to pieces when the beam hit them and unfortunately the whatsy ship was partly eaten but having the replicators on the ship while the Ori where trying to blow them to kingdom come. Id have to say that the replicators are truly a threat to the universe but are very clever.
After such a disastrous encounter, Ksht’ar Uresh had been called to the Imperial courts on the Homeworld to discus matters with the Emperor. He remembered a phrase one of his instructors always said to him and his students ‘And remember, the Faruk Empire is at stake ever single second – apply that cold Faruk steel to any situation.’ Well he did, he had done so for the past 60 years, from the Mikrosh war to their current predicament with the Terrans. But despite his ruthless dedication to the Empire in service he failed in these times of peace and disparity to apply this ‘cold Faruk steel’ successfully. The Faruk Empire could not afford a war now in its weakened state, despite their ruthlessness to fight it.

The movie just goes to show how completely ****ing stupid the IOA is. They wanted to release a Replicator into the Ori fleet. A fleet composed of Ancient and Ascended-based technology, and they still thought that their little piddly command would work after it'd absorbed the Ori fleet? They need a good strong does of wake the hell up.
It's a dangerous business going out your front door.

actually, the replis wouldve eaten ori tech and asgard tech. imagine replicator-controlled ori motherships with their main beam and asgard beams running around fighting us!.

ori galaxy isnt andromeda, or we coulve gone there straight in 16 days. i think they live in annother galactic supercluster

If the IOA wanted the replicator on the Ori ship wouln't it have had a becon to beam it on to them?
How exactly were they supposed to get it on board the Ori ship?
Even with Asgard transporters it couldn't get through Ori shields
Whatever the ancients can do we can, eventually, do better.

The replicators would have taken over the Odyssesy first, supped it up then started taking over Ori ships using whatever means they use to get through Asgard shields.
Robert Jastrow (self-proclaimed agnostic): "For the scientist who has lived by his faith in the power of reason, the story ends like a bad dream. He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

I used to hate the IOA, but because the Replicators returned because of them, they are more awesome! But it was idiotic to release them....

I agree that's what the replicators were always going to do but it does seem like a great idea from an IOA point of view. Surely they had a way of getting them onto the Ori ship before it ''took over'' the Odyssey.
