They are making a scifi channel original movie called "Ba'al: the Storm god" basically from what i've seen, it's a worse version of "The day after tommorow".

They don't even say Ba'al right! I couldn't believe it when I first saw the commercial the other night! They had to have gotten it from Stargate, I mean, come on...Ba'al...that egyptian eye symbol..the writers of that movie wouldn't have even heard of Ba'al if it wasn't for Stargate Sg-1!
I think Sci Fi channel has the worst movie titles known to man.

Frankenfish comes to mind. And there was one about bats, but I only saw the preview, and obviously, the name was very forgettable.

Seriously though, people are surprised by this movie? Sci-Fi movies are an entity all their own. They excel at bad acting (somehow, they even get good actors to act badly), worse effects, and eye-rolling titles. The ads I have seen for this movie seem like they are working hard to maintain their reputation of low standards!
