I'm not sure whether this has been covered or not. It was stated in 'Spoils Of War' that the wraith do not have sufficient energy to power the cloning facility and needed to steal ZPM's. So, any speculation as to how Hive Ships are powered ? because I'd imagine they need alot of power also.

cold fusion. only heavy powergeneration which doesnt generate radiation killing the hive, and which is longlasting. all you need is palladium and deuterium as fuel -
