I hope not. They look stupid. And funny. But the background is the Atlantis set. But still, it can be photoshop, so it may well be a goof.

Edit: I'm only saying this because i don't know this site.

Yeah that site has always been spot on for everything I have seen and with the other images it has there for Atlantis I'm 100% certain this is genuine. Personally I like the look of them as it is different from what we are used to getting.

Wow they look kind of cool to me... I was expecting something else but this seems interesting and I can see why JM said that the new race looked something like the Kull warriors. Can't wait for the two parter episode now.

Those arm bands + body suits look familiar ... perhaps they're survivors of the Atonieks - the race that had the arm bands from the SG-1 Episode 'Upgrades'? Or maybe the aliens from the SG-1 episode 'Foothold', but with body armour?
