with humans its all hormones and chemicals. rekon they have programming to emulate that. they do show signs of other emotions and self preservation.

Probably not, the MW ones defiently won't have it, they just wanted ot take over the galaxy and turn it into a bug factory. The Asurans were built to be a wepon, their procreation is just makign new nanites.

The argument on self preservation doen't work, becuase all Aurans are identical, and anyone who "dies" is saved in their subnet. So normal emotion like self preservation (an absolute must for a biological species) woul't apply.

Whether they can- undobtetly, they can manipulate their forms at will, so there's no reason they shouldn't be able to make the right parts if they wanted to.

Well, it's a point that has never been stated in the series, i have two opposites theories(since you talked about FRAN, i'll only talk about the asurans):


-They tried to reproduce the human body (acient actually, since Niam said they took this form as the most effective form they knew of) by studying them completely, so they are just like us, even in places you can't see, then technically it should be possible for them to have that kind of "interaction" be it with other asurans or even humans, but of course, it would be impossible for them to procreate (well, it they really wanted to, maybe they could build a device to transmit genetic material (male models only ?! ), just like they create people inside out)

-They just reproduced the global "look" of their creator, ans never seen them naked (would you put yourself naked in front of a machine you created to be ultraviolent ?)


To summary, if they really wanted to, i'm sure they could find a way, but i don't think either of them (humans and asurans) would want that

More seriously, I don't think they are 100% human form since they also emulate clothes (like the T-1000 in Terminator 2, now thinking about it). They probably "forget" the little pinkies.

it what makes it funny coz the writers make them a but more like us. atlantis has like a early 20 yr old humour (all about rippin each other and talkin bout hot chicks) wher as sg1 was funny but on a maturer level.
