I purchased Stargate: Continuum on Blu-Ray (the first day it came out).
The only blu ray player I have is in my computer. I use PowerDVD 7 Ultra to play Blu ray movies.
Every other Blu Ray and HD DVD I own plays flawlessly on my system. I have about 30 Blu Ray and HD DVD in total. I have the latest video drivers and all the updates for Windows. Windows XP Pro 32bit, Q6600, 4GB ram.
Stargate Continuum doesn't work with PowerDVD at all. The FBI / do not copy warning just flashes on the screen for about .5 seconds. Once the menu screen is about to load, powerDVD gets a solid black screen.
WinDVD is able to play it, however it takes about 10-15 times of opening and closing the application for the initial menu to appear. In WinDVD the black level is set extremely high and the quality looks like DVD.
Has anyone else had this problem, or heard of it happening to anyone else?
