    Ba'al's Homeworld - Praxia?

OK, just messed up. Sorry. Never made a thread before. Moderators please move this to the Continuum thread. Thanks.

    Continuum question:

    Spoiler:
I searched for this answer in this thread, but couldn't find an answer. Apologies if it has been discussed before.

Ba'al's homeworld, named Praxia (sp?), was a surprise to me but didn't seem to be a surprise to any of the characters in the movie. Has this name been used in previous SG1 episodes?

With so many references to the previous 10 years in the movie, I got the feeling I should know this name. I quite possibly may have just missed it or not paid attention all these years.

Any and all explanation of what others knew about Ba'al's home planet previous to watching the movie would help ease my feeble, failing mind

Do you suggest watching any episodes to learn more?

    Thanks in advance

    Spoiler:
Ba'al's solar observatory was located on Praxion, which I'd never heard of before Continuum. It's not mentioned in any of the Stargate wikis or in the Omnipedia.

his homeworld sounds a lot like Praxis from Trek VI

This is another thing like when SG-1 went to Juna (Shown for the first time on the show in "Double Jeopardy") that we never saw onscreen yet the team was extremely familiar with.

New planet. (According to the movie subtitles, the spelling is "Praxyon.")

More like an ultrasecret base because of the time machine.

Interesting. I don't know whether to like or dislike that they eschewed the more obvious spelling.

                Vala,
Not the first time they did that.

I know that but that was the first example that came to mind.
