Am I wrong or was that an Asgard Core Control Centre on board the Daedalus? Am I to believe that in just over a year we have manged to reverse engineer one?

we dont reverse engineer em. we just let the core duplicate the stuff

In my mind it's a core made to only run the beam weapons and doesn't contain the full power of the original core given to the Tuari. It'd be stupid to put all that knowledge on every ship.

That way if a ship was captured by someone they would not have all the knowledge.
