CASTING: Ben Browder's role

I mean it is very obvious that it is the same actor. It just makes the movie seems a bit cheap. Why didn't they get someone else to play the captain of the achillies?

I also have one other question that i really want to know what people think. Assuming the Ba'al that went back in time was the real Ba'al and he therefore had naqaduah in his blood, what explanation could there be for him not having a personal shield?

i know what your saying but earth had good guns even back then. If you travel back in time to another planet you would use a personal shield as a safety precuation when you first step through the gate. I think they should have made mitchell have to fight him hand to hand or at least use a slow moving object that would bypass the personal shield

Anyway, yes, Ben Browder playing two characters did thouroughly annoy me. You could tell right away it was him, especially as he made no effort to mask his voice.
