New Series idea "Stargate: Empire"
This is an idea for a new Stargate series titled "Stargate Empire"
The series will take place in a new Galaxy the Ancients colonized after they left the Milkyway Galaxy, as well as around the time Atlantis was leaving earth several million years ago. This Galaxy is called "Crystaline".
The Crystaline Galaxy was one of the many galaxies the ancients sought refuge after the plague outbreak in the milkyway, along with the Pegasus Galaxy. upon entering the Crystaline Galaxy, The ancients found a new crystaline element which had almost the same properties as Naquidah. except this element had a much higher energy output property to it, as well, it was stronger then naquidah, which made it a new material to construct Stargates out of.
The Ancients colonized this new Galaxy, and found out they weren't the only advanced civilization with technology similar to their own. This new civilization was called the "Vellion Empire". With help from the Ancients, the Vellions were able to develop hyperdrives for their ships, and harness Vacuum energy from sub-space using the Crystaline material as a casing, which are potentially hold 3x more power than regular ZPMs.
With the Stargate technology quickly spreading across the galaxy, the Vellions were able to explore and colonize other worlds in their galaxy much quicker than before.
But the Vellion leaders weren't satisfied with the planets they had already taken for themselves. They wanted more lands, more worlds, and more people rule over.
Over the course of a hundren years, The ancients already part of the 4 great races alliance, along with the Asgard, The Nox, and The Ferlings, saw the Vellion empire as a threat. So the four great races designed a city far grander than Atlantis, the city was called "Scyous: (Sigh'ous)" and would serve as a way to seal the Emperors' hold on the galaxy.
Scyous was not only a city built by the Ancients, but it was also constructed with the help of the Asgard, Nox and Ferlings.
Scyous's purpose was to disrupt subspace in the entire galaxy which would prevent the Emperors from using their hyperdrives and the Stargates. However, the power requirements were enormous to perform such a task.
Like Atlantis, Scyous needed vast amounts of power, and since it's purpose was to disreupt subspace in the entire galaxy, ZPMs would not work. To give Syous the power it needs, a modified version of Arcturious was developed, and to keep the exotic particals from doing any harm in this universe, a new feature was added to detect exotic particles and have them sent to another dimention where they are rendered inert and harmless to our universe. This model of Arcturious never made it to Pegasus due to the sub-space distortion making stargate travel impossible.
Whatever Ancients, Nox, Ferlings and Asgard remained in Scyous, lived out the rest of their lives in Scyous because they had no way to leave the galaxy, and any ships that did manage to make it into hyperspace did not last long enough to exit at a safe location.
For millions of years, The Emperors were nothing to worry about.
And now, the basic outline of the story:
With the Ori and Goa'uld defeated, and having the Asgard database, the X-305 code named "The Chariot" has been developed, and sent on it's maiden voyage to a galaxy mentioned in the Asgard database which was translated from Ancient repositories.
SG-1, Lt. Col. Paul Davis, Dr. Sarah Jensen, Major Matthew Phoenix, Captaion of the Chariot Col. Benjamin Keaden, and the crew of the Chariot depart from Earth and head to the unknown Crystaline Galaxy.
The Crystaline Galaxy happens to be much father than any galaxy explored, it is predicted to be approx 7.8 million lightyears away from the Milkyway. so it is estimated to be a three and a half month trip in hyperspace.
Upon entering Crystaline, the ship starts to shake, Col. Carter and Dr. Jensen analyze the data the ships sensors records, and determine that the ship has entered a sub-space distortion field, Dr. Jensen estimates that the distortion is originating from within the galaxy.
Carter is able to locate and source of the distortion, so the Chariot sets a course to the source of the distortion.
The ship starts to shake a lot, to the point where it has to drop out of hyperspace before the ship breaks apart. When The Chariot exits hyperspace, Col. Keaden orders the engeneers to determine damage to the ship, and Dr. Jensen says that the source of the subspace distortion is on the nearby planet.
Sensors indicate that the solar system they're travelling through has a unique belt of frozen water chunks much like the astroid belt in our home solar system.
The planet from which the subspace field is originating from is located. The entire planet's surface is frozen.
The Chariot, damaged as it is, remains in orbit, and Dr. Jensen detects rings on the surface, so they use the transport rings to get to the surface.
The rings used to transport to the surface look like the rings designed by the Ancients/Goa'uld, upon transport to the surface, the rings on the planet are a blue crystaline color, 8 rings come out of the ground to re-materialize the teams sent to the surface. SG-1, along with Col. Davis, Dr. Jensen, and Major Phoenix and his team are ringed to the surface.
Upo their arrival, it is discovered that the location they ringed to was not an enemy stronghold, but it was of Lantean design. But mostly, it appears that they entered a "Garden of Eden" rich with plant life, and an irrigation system much like the one on Cimmeria (Thor's Hammer). There's also a waterfall inside the complex.
Col. Mitchell and Teal'c find a transporter similar to the ones on Atlantis and are transported to what appears to be a "Jumper Bay". The jumpers are like the ones in Atlantis but are dark blue. Teal'c and Mitchel enter one, it activates. Mitchell calls Carter to the jumper bay, and wonders why he was able to activate the Jumper without the ATA gene, Dr. Jensen explains that this technology is different and does not require the ATA gene for activation. Quite possibly due to the fact that there are no Wraith to worry about in this Galaxy.
Carter finds what looks like a control room, and finds the Stargate. A dark blue ring made out of the crystaline material native to the galaxy. There are no symbols in the inner ring.
Major Phoenix calls Carter on the radio and tells her that he may have found the source of the subspace distortion.
Carter goes over to the machine via Transporter, and and Dr. Jensen examine the device and find out how to turn it off.
Col. Mitchell, who is now in the gate room notices that as soon as the subspace distorionfield is deactivated, The DHD in the control room activated with 7 symbols, the gate starts dialing several times. No lock has been established, Mitchell thinks it was something Vala did, Teal'c tells Vala that she should not have been touching random buttons to which she does not know the function for. Touching random buttons was merely a way for her to satisfy her curiosity.
Dr. Jensen rushes to the gate room to determine that Vala was not responsible for the gate's random dialing activation.
Carter and Jensen start examining the DHD and notice that the gate is trying to dial addresses in the database but are not able to get a lock on any of them.
Col. Davis wants to know why the stargate is dialing random addresses and Carter tells him that it might hvae something to do with the correllitive updates the stargates go through to keep their internal dialing program up to date due to stellar drift.
Col. Davis is looking at an address in the database, the DHD starts dialing it as one of the random addresses. the gate can't get a lock. Then it would appear that the stargate givwes up it's random dialing. The stargate is now dialing random symbols, addresses that are not part of the database, like cold dialing, it does this for a few addresses, then it finally gets a lock on an offworld stargate, then shuts down 1 second after activation. The stargate then selects another randon address from the database and successfully locks on, then shuts down.
Upon the Corellitive update that's going on, someone offworld, the stargate in a courtyard is activated and shuts down, activates again, and shuts down.
The man who witnessed the stargate activate tells his superior about the "Crystal Ring's" Activation, the man looks sinister in facial appearance, he then orders the launching of his ships.
Back on the Emeror controlled world, The Emperor orders the launching of his ships. He them says "The Alterans terrorism will now come to an end, send 3 of our finest and fastest vessels to Scyous, we will ensure that subspace will never be disrupted again, and we shall have the stars to ourselves again.
Back on Scyous, Col. Keaden informs the SG teams on the surface that there are 3 ships closing in on their position. The ships appear to be Lantean warships similar in appearance to the Aurora, except they are also dark blue like the jumpers.
The ships are closing in on the Chariot, the Chariot still damaged from the subspace distortion remains in orbit unable to fight at this time.
