In the UK do they always release a Season of TV shows like this? In the US a season is all in one pack.

From what I've seen online, yes. (I live in the US.) In the UK, they release a season by individual disc, and then by a box set. However (in the case of Stargate at least), they get more features than the US does. However, they pay more money for their DVDs than we do.

The season 4 box set is released on 4th August 2008 over here in the UK (details from the HMV website.) I personally wait for the boxsets myself though i do look at the indervidual DVDs when they're released.

I personally think that its a money making scheme over here when they release them indervidually.

        Spoiler:
        McKay: Crap!

        Hermiod: What did you do?

McKay: I ran it through a translation programme, it's Wraith.

        Hermiod: Crap indeed!

That's odd, because I thought the entire boxset was being released fairly soonish (August, like Catflap siad), and there's usually a very big delay between the individual volumes being released and the boxset being released. I thought volumes had already been out for ages
I personally wait till a year after the boxset is released (normally when the next season comes out). Why pay £15 on a single DVD, when (if you wait long enough), you can get the entire season for £20-25 on amazon...
