That can't be a complete list- Firefly wasn't on there. There was a big deal (among fans) last year over how the Firefly and Serenity DVDs were going to the Space Station to stay.....they even sent back pictures of the discs floating.

Interesting list though- imagine watching a movie like "Contact" or "Star Wars" while in space. Reason enough alone to become an astronaut.

What can you not watch on the ISS? Anything Star Trek related.

Here are some the TV Programs you can watch on the ISS:
            Cheers
            CSI: NY
            ER
            Fraiser
            Friends
            Good Eats (Good cooking show)
            Home Improvement
Law and Order (a show, like According to Jim, that just won't die)
            Lost
            MASH
            SNL
Scrubs (I wonder what episodes they have available)
            Seinfeld
            SG-1
            The Daily Show
            The Colbert Report

These are just to name a few shows available.

Yeah.....I don't get why there's no Star Trek there. Or Battlestar Galactica- come on! That's a rather lousy list overall.

maybe NASA couldn't get the rights to stock the station with Star Trek or battlestar galactica...

it is a commercial environment (research), and as stated at the beginning of every dvd in existence, playing them in a non home-use setting is illegal.

they should just do it anyways. and give the astronauts internet too.

I think it would be pretty cool to watch SG-1 in space. Floating around and watching one of the best tv shows in the world. That would make going up there worth it to me.
