I don't think so, but then again they could do anything, I was recently watching Fight club and noticed how the main character had to pull the green wire, It got me thinking that It may b a nod to fight club and how the alternate mitchell belives he's everything our mitchell wants to be etc.

That line is from Air Force One, when Harrison Ford had to figure out which wire to cut to dump the fuel. I think it was just another pop culture reference that the writers like to put in there.

I was very sad when they did not follow that up in AoT. I was hoping they would in Continuum, so now that know they are not, I am hoping we will find out what "The green one" is in the third move. BTW, anyone know for sure if there will be a third movie?

No, but if I remember correctly one of the producers has already said that the green thing won't be revisited. It wouldn't make much sense to revisit it now anyway, the two time lines are too different, especially now.
