size of ships

I know we can tell which ships are bigger based on seeing them together for instance the 304 class is only a fraction the size of a hive ship although those are the two extremes for size of mothership. However i can't find any definitive measurements of size. Wikia has what seem to be arbitrary values and give no indication of where the figures came from or how they were reached. Admittedly some of the larger ships seem to have approriate sizes in terms of ratio to each other but again i have no idea what they use as a baseline. And they lose a lot of my confidence with measurements like the death glider with a 50 meter wing span and the 15m long teltak which seems far too small for a hyperspace capable ship considering the ancient built puddle jumper which is about half the size but far more advanced is barely capable. Can anyone help me out. We have the stargate dimensions i believe so it could be possible to work out the jumpers length from pics.

As far as I know, there is a scaling thread in here, that tred to measure sizes of ships. But I dunno where it is now and I'm too lazy to search.

I can never remember a time during the show that a specific measurement was given for a ship. We've seen producer drawings that say what they want to ship to be, but never official cannon figures. All measurements made on various ships are based on scaling from images on screen.

Well, a few things we can be 100% sure on is:

Hive: Stated to be ~11km
Teltak: By useing the set, it is easy to find how big it is about
302: Was shown on ground, next to people
Al'kesh: Was shown on ground next to people
303: Was shown next to a 302, which was next to a person
Ancient ship: The bridge was shown, and zoomed out, easy to scale

Hive was stated to be ~11km by the producers sketch, iirc, not in show. Also, we can get pretty good estimates from scaling, but that's assuming that the VFX are consistent from episode to episode...and I think it's pretty obvious that they're not.
