What do you guys think it should be funny? or a hard hitting drauma?

Lt.Colonel John Sheppard

it should be serious. unlike sg-1's 100th episode. Atlantis's 100th should be special like 90 minutes or something.

Yeah but it would also be funny if they did something like a musical or something else thats goofy

I agree with Lt Colonel John Shepard, a 90 minute episode would be an awesome way of celebrating Atlantis' 100th episode! :sheppard:

To the OP - I did quick search and found the following threads which also deal with this same subject:

Won't the 100th be the season finale as well? So that would rule out an SG-1 style funnish one.. since it will probably be the first of a two parter season bridge (providing there be a season six of course)

Yeah i guess you right, oh well hopefully the 200th episode (if there is one) will be a funny one

Must be epic.

What about a story idea?

What about an alliance of Atlantis, Todd, Travellers, Genii on the onse side and Michael and his army and the replicator on the other in an epic land, air, space battle that would put BAMSR to shame..

I t will probably only be just an episode with loads of visual effects, like all the Daedelus class ships (Odyssey, Daedelus, Apollo, some new ship and maybe even the Pheonix) fighting toghether in pegasus against either Michael or the wraith, a huge strike, to show the power of Earth's fleet. I think that would be awesome!

What if General Hammond were to appear? A visit for the moral boost on the Atlantis troops. He is taking the Daedalous/Appollo but it gets ambushed by Wraith Hives. He gets captured and they are going to rescue him.

I think just classic style stargate episode would be awesome. It would have humour and drama, it's what stargate does best. But I'm really looking forward to this as it's the end of the season I believe. So it should have a bigger budget or something. :D

I would like it to be funny. It should be better than the 200 episode of sg1.

While loved those it's definitely a good thing for the 100th ep not being funny considering it's a season finale.

okay first of all, 1) the 200th episode is going to be the season 10 finale if atlantis goes to season seven i'll be surprise. That would mean that Atlantis would have 140 episodes that's pretty good if you say so myself.

Maybe, maybe not. Season 5 of SG-1 is the first SG-1 season that doesn't end with a cliffhanger. It would make sense if the season finale is the episode they finally kill Michael. I can't see him surviving into the sixth season. Personally, I think it should be a 90 minute episode, like The Lost City.

What I think would be cool is if they discover that Michael is on his way to Atlantis with 60+ ships. Then they need all Earth-ships (including the Odyssey, and maybe one or two built by other countries on Earth), the Travellers, Todd and the new aliens (if the new aliens turn out to be villains, my suggestion is that Michael should have closer to about 30 ships).

The climax of the battle could be when Michael uses a device that disables the force shield protecting the gate and leads a force of hybrids through the gate. That battle evolves into a one-on-one fight between Shepard and Michael (with Woolsey hiding under his desk). The fight could end when Shepard kicks Michael into the control room and when the ex-Wraith is dazed for a second or two he grabs for his gun and shoots him several times and he falls over the fence and down into the gate room. Then he, Woolsey and some other people goes down to check on him and he's still alive, but not for long. His final words should be something like,

"I just wanted to be left in peace..."

How about an alt. timline episode? Where SG-1 went to Atlantis instead of the current expedition. It would a great excuse for a full cast guest star and O'Neill could be in command! Its never going to happen but how great would that be! Think about it if SG-1 had gone to Atlantis the System Lords and replicaters would still be around and the Ori would never have found out about us. Only snag I can see with that would be that SG-1 probably wouldn't have met Vala. :(

Turn Atlantis' 100th episode into an SG-1 episode? No thanks.
