View Full Version : Reagarding "Well, what about Carson?"

It's a fair point for people to complain about, the fact that there's no mention made of him, especially considering that his clone's return/stasis occurred in the episode directly preceding "The Last Man," but I wonder...

If you think about it, didn't Rodney have great incentive (from a selfless perspective) NOT to find a way to properly revive/save him? I mean, Carson's clone -- after almost two years in captivity -- comes home to find that the real him is dead and that they've lost Elizabeth. Then he has to come to terms with the fact that his mother thinks he's dead and there's no cure for his present ailment.

Does McKay (again, thinking about it in a non-selfish way) really want to revive Clone Carson and have to explain that Sheppard, Teyla, Ronon, Keller, and Carter are ALSO gone now and that Michael has savaged the galaxy using something Clone Carson helped him perfect?

If I were Rodney, I'd let the man rest.

And please forgive the typo in the thread title. It's really bothering me.

I have often wondered the same thing.
