How many Jaffa or Ori troops needed for Earth Occupation?

If Apophis had won ten yr ago , could he successfully Occupy Earth ,or how long until he give up and wipe out the planet from space.
The same with Ori miltiary , how could they convert so many world with the their troops.Assuming the local population need a lttile time to convert and join the Ori troops.

a decade ago Apophis tried to invade Earth with 2 mother ship, SG1 destory them , what if SG1 had fail .we saw in 2 parallel universe ,apophis attack Earth from Orbit and destory most military installation and then land his ship on the Cheyenne Mountain and then take over Earth's stargate.

Then could the Jaffa military successfully occupy earth?
Look at Iraq it take about 150 thousand troops to Occupy such small country.
Apophis took 2 mothership , that is 2 to 4 thousand jaffa ,and they could bring it more once they secure the stargate.

how many troops needed to Occupy Earth ?a few hundred thousand or 10 million.


Jaffa and Ori military use powerful energy weapon , but in many way it is a primative military.Tehy have powerful ships in space , but on the ground, they are just like any other Earth's soldier .

The Jaffa or Ori troops doesn't use HMMWV or helicopter ,but they use Transport ring , and Death Glider could transport ring platform ,the troop can move quite fast ,and it can cover a lot of area with less troops than Earth military.

The comparison with Iraq is bad, because the US troops won't just kill like 10.000 civilians to eliminate the possible threat of guerilla troops hiding out with them, while Apophis would just kill all of them if there was even one enemy soldier hiding between them. The Goa'uld have no concern about keeping the civilians alive, they wouldn't probably occupy, but wipe out most of the population and keep only a low percentage of them alive for hosts etc...

As for the Ori, they would still slaughter people without mercy if they needed to, but that's not their goal. They would probably wipe out the military installations from space, and maybe 1-2 cities to show their might, and convert the people, as they don't want to slaughter them and keep a few for hosts and slaves like the Goa'uld, but to convert them to worship. So they would have a harder job then Apophis, because this way the possibility of guerilla warfare is much higher, but still, if needed, they would wipe out major populations from space if they thought that converting them isn't worth the effort. And seeing how stubborn humans on earth can be, after a time, they would get bored with it and blow the planet.

Actually we had a taste of this in Lost City. Anubis was destroying the power grid and communications. If the goauld made it to Earth they'll just destroy a city or two to make an example. Orbital bombardment until submission. I see the Ori doing the same to establish their superiority and power. There will be organized resistance at first but that will end soon after random people start to disappear and made examples of.

All it would take for the Priors to conquer Earth is a few plagues here and there and that would convert a great many into believers. The Priors could then direct the believers to convert or destroy anyone who resists. They wouldn't need to import too many Ori Warriors, they could recruit from the Earth population.

Apophis would have wiped out 90% of the population if he had to. We saw from Lost City Anubis had an entire carrier group wiped out in 5 minutes to test Earths defenses.

I think Apophis Invasion had a Stargate. He may have been planning to bring in more reinforcements if he needed to.

Depending on what he wants to do, I don't think he'd need many troops. All he needs is just a quiet world, so every time something annoys him, he levels a whole city and voila.

Besides your assuming that they don't level our Electrical, Communication industries, sink all of the worlds combat ships, and destroy every manned flying machine. When your willing to level cities from orbit, TV doesn't matter s much anymore. Wrong.....There are more than 68 billion people on this planet and counting. And plus we would win in the long run. Do you know know many gun stores there are in the world? Do you know how many people have guns whether thw guns are legal or illegal? Plus there will be many organized resistance....becuase of all the gangs we have in the world. Plus all the other military weapons that they dont show in the show like Motors,tanks,M3Ps and many others. Hell a M3P will blow a big a$$ hole in some one wheather they have armor or not.
