Was thinking about this and I've got an idea for someone who would make a decent leader of Atlantis... That Scientist/Business man that owned the company that cloned the Asgard. He's got the clearance, since he was sent to the Alpha Site, and had pretty good business sense. Seems like he'd work pretty well with both the IOA and managing the scientists.

I think Kavanagh would have to get his head out of his backside to be realistic leadership material for the Atlantis experdition, I very much doubt even the IOA on a really dumb day would give him reign over Atlantis... Way too selfish and after that mistake in 'Midway' there is no chance in hell anyone would put him in a position where he could do more harm
I would like to see Kavanagh again in S5, just nowhere near a command position or any controls that could lead to Atlantis, the Deadalus or any other asset getting destroyed because of his arrogance and stupidity

1. Elizabeth. She will always be leader of Atlantis to me. I don't see her as dead, she's just MIA.
2. Daniel. He'd be perfect. He a great humanitarian and very diplomatic.
3. Caldwell. If Elizabeth or Daniel couldn't be the leader of Atlantis, Caldwell would be a great leader. He's a man that knows how to get the job done and get it done right. He doesn't take crap from no one.
Great choices!!
