Last we saw him he was on a Hive ship which exploded so he should be dead. Though for some inexplicable reason Sheppard doesn't seem so sure... lol, I love how the only thing they did to keep it open as to whether or not he'd be in another episode was by making Shep say he probably will even though there's absolutely no reason to believe that lol
