When Colonel Ellis is talking with Landry on the screen from the Apollo to the SGC, on the screen it shows Ellis' name as if he's a news anchor or someone being interviewed on the news.
I don't think they'd do that for the simple reasons that Landry already should know who he's talking to and it would be near impossible for a communications system to identify who the speaker is in real time without some post production like they do in the news.
