Uhm...have you seen the actress that plays her in anything else?

You can't form an opinion on an actor based on one role.

Look at IMDB...She has a body of work as big as any Stargate actors...she can't be bad, or she wouldn't get hired.

i think she plays the role well. she's exactly what ptb want from the character. shy, innocent, kind. she plays the part well.

Luttrell's not that much better either, but regarldess of what people think of her character, the actress herself really isn't that great.

Not that anything negative can be said about this show on this forum of course.

Umm, there have been many MANY actors and actresses hired on both shows, who have been rubbish.

The female characters aren't hired for their 'acting' a lot of the time.

Katie was never a character in her own right, instead she was a tool used to develop (or in the case of Quarantine, revert ) Rodney's character.

How am I supposed to be interested in their relationship when most of it took place offscreen, followed by a jarring and sudden proposal by Rodney? Eh, didn't buy it.
