    Heroes figures

    Mezco toys has the license to make figures from Heroes, and they have finally been revealed.

    The more I look at them, the more I like them; but I'm still not sure. The likenesses are off on everyone, but Peter and Mohinder seem to better than the rest. Claire and Hiro are really bad, but hopefully they will change a little bit. Mezco has also said they will be doing 3 3/4" scale dioramas of memorable scenes from the show. Hopefully those are better. I'm also hoping Nathan will be in wave 2.
    So what does eveyone else think? Will you be buying these?

    Wow, that's really poor, as far as likeness goes. This disapoints me.

    I really wanted a Hiro figure.

      Yeah, I was hoping for more too. I heard Hiro will also have a variant head with his stopping time expression, maybe that one will be better.

        That might make the head look better, but I doubt it will fix his monkey arms. lol

          Edit: More photos are surfacing. These are scans, from HeroesTVSeries' myspace page, of the latest Toyfare magazine. You can also read the article which gives a little more info.
          This one shows the variant Hiro head, but sadly he looks like he is taking a huge crap. LOL!

            WOW that's cool, i gotta check the that magazine later to read the article. i like the peter acessories even though i would like a shooting lighting hand or something that would work better. i saw that in conerstorecomics and amazing toyz has "heroes" serie sone for preorder but only sylar and hiro are sold by them selves and the other three (peter, claire, and mohinder) are sold by sets. so you have to buy a set to get the others, that is total BS!!!! man now i have to go to the store to find regular peter which is the i wanted the most.

              those are nice-er-decent looki- ok i have to say it, those things are pretty damn ugly. they don't look that much like the characters, and Mohinder's skin is WAY to dark, it's much lighter in real life...

                Those look terrible! And the one of "concentrating" Hiro is downright frightening! All those teeth! And the expression! Yeeks...

                I think sometimes companies try too hard to make a figure look EXACTLY like the person and the result is that it winds up looking less like who it's supposed to be than if they'd just taken a generic doll and made a few modifications.

                    I don't know who they were trying to make it look like because it certainly isn't Claire. They need to at least make her body shorter and give her a fuller face, then it might start to look like her. Hopefully Mezco listens to fans and changes these figures by Toy Fair. I really wanted to like this line.

                      I think Peter looks a little better, but everyone else looks about the same. They also show concept art for Series 2 & 3. I'm disappointed that we have to wait until wave 3 for Nathan, and he's not even the Season 1 look with a suit and tie. The character selection for both waves is interesting though.


                      EDIT: Even more photos of series 1, including the first look at FUTURE HERO! I think he looks the best of all of them.

                          The future Hiro is quite impressive but the rest need major work. Overall pretty disapointing.
