The Sci Fi Channel has found a friend in cyberspace. The network said its Web site had 3.4 million unique users in October, a record for scifi.com.
The figure represented a 15% increase over October 2006, the network said, and was up 34% versus September.
Last month, to further its cross-platform pollination, the site featured content linked with the network's Halloween programming, including "Ghost Hunters Live" and a "13 Days of Halloween" marathon. The "Ghost Hunters" site section including an "interactive headquarters," which the network said garnered 2.1 million page views on Halloween.
