I was wondering if there was a stargate font out there?

Yah there is, although i don't have it right now, it's a quick easy search:

"Stargate" +"Font"

Thats how i found mine before, not sure if its still there though...

Google.com should be your first stop when searching for things

they're invaluable if you want to make wallpapers or icons. Sometimes you just need that A with the circle on top
