Ha'Tak vs Asuran Cannon Fodder class Starship

    WARNING SPOILERS
    READ AT YOUR OWN PERIL

Seeming as everywhere where the Asuran ship is shown it get imediately impaled by craptastic comments so lets pit the weakest stargate capital ship against it. This being the Early Ha'ak, the Standard Ha'Tak and Anubis's Refit Ha'Tak's ( Pick any One )to pit against the A.S.S. Cannon Fodder. Let the death match begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are the ha'taks mentionned here?

The ones used by Apophis had hyperdrives which actually largely matched those of a 304. The class introduced by Sokar was the one which appeared more often and became the leading class in the Milky Way there after, safe that the ships didn't have a cloaking ability.

In the end, you'll notice that since we know **** about all those ships, your versus ends virtually nowhere.

Insufficient information in my opinion as Stargate ships power are directly proportional to the plotline present.

I mean if we take season 9 into account, a Ha'tak can take on a 304 like the Odyssey mind you though its shields were still being fixed at the time so no certainty there. Not seen the new episodes yet beyond a few threads and pictures so can't comment on Asuran capabilities. However, if they have drones then presumably they can take on a Ha'tak since drones from a Puddle Jumper actually took out a Ha'tak.

Perhaps it would be better to wait to activate this thread when everyone has seen the epidode to make theirr own judgements-In the first episode of s10 the Oddessy had 30% shields and would not have been able to take on Netans Ha'tak and win

Why the need for such a topic at all?

In case you hadn't watched 'The Lost City', then you'd know that Drones from a single outpost easily took out 30 of the most advanced Ha'taks ever built.

If that wasn't enough in 'It's Good to be King', 2 Drones were enoughto take out another Ha'tak.

Therefore an Asuran ship against a Ha'tak would be such a mis-match that it isn't even worth wasting time talking about it!

Thing is though that people here in the forums have been posting that the Asuran ship did little or no damage to the Daedalus and was armed with pulse cannons Read the Asuran ship thread if you don't believe me!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you, in theory, an Asuran ship should completely and totally rape a Ha'tak. However, from what we've seen, that may not be the case. And we haven't seen the Asurans use Drones yet.

We have NO clue. We have absolutely NOTHING to base any arguement on. As someone above said, ships strength is proportional for the episode.
                      Disliked a recent episode?
Hate the current season Stargate Atlantis or SG1?
The writers killed off your favourite character?

Well suck it up Cupcake. It is only a Television Show.
