i think i've already heard it before but i didn't find it..point is i like it very much and i'd like to know who's the artist etc..anyone can help please?

Most likely, you've heard the same piece of score used in earlier SG-1 episodes. I recognized at least part of it from the 'Redemption' 2-parter. The artist is SG-1's composer, Joel Goldsmith.
