I know there are lots of Canadians playing Americans on Atlantis. Is it just me or does Torri/Weir speak with a more pronounced Canadian accent than the others? I don't know how she or the other actors normally speak, and maybe none of them (aside from Mcgillion/Beckett, of course) are even trying accents, but she just doesn't sound American.

One thing I noticed, for instance, is that Weir pronounces "been" as "bean", while most Americans would pronounce it "bin".
There's a certain generic mid-western American middle-class way of speaking that is used pretty commonly on American t.v. shows, and thus is spreading all over the country, and even the world, as the unofficial official American accent. I can always tell when someone's deviating from that, and the deviation in this case is pretty pronounced. (Pun fully intended.) Then again, maybe it's a regionalism I never noticed before, since I've spent so little time in the northwestern U.S.
Just wondering if anyone else had noticed anything. (And yes, I do know Cam talks like a sexy growly southern boy. Who could miss that?)
