Which commentary did you hear that on? I'd like to hear that for myself. Sounds to me like scenes from the episode "200".

I prefer not to have the furlings shown, it would leave no significant mysteries to stargate.

The Furlings and the Jack/Sam wedding were featured in "200," the 6th episode. However, they were fantasy sequences.

here is something someone said in the sam/jack ship thread -

"Hello Everyone,
Here's what I heard from the commentary on episode 200 by Brad Wrigth and Robert C. Cooper. Rob was talking about all the mail that came in asking them when the real wedding will take place between Sam/Jack and Rob asked Brad the question: "When are we going to see the real one? The real one is in your movie, right?" And then Brad answers " Yes, yes, of course." I don't know how true/real the answer that Brad gave or is it just another ploy or sales pitch to keep us interested in buying the movie Continuum DVD just to see the culmination of Sam/Jack relationship for real and of course whatever else is in the story. :S"

whether this is real or them joking, i do not know. :)

Yeah the Furlings and Wedding were among the many pitched in the session where SG-1 was attempting to help the guy who made the Wormhole X-treme show.

Well considering Continuum involves an alternate timeline then a Jack/Sam wedding could happen until the timeline reverts back to normal.

Well considering Continuum involves an alternate timeline then a Jack/Sam wedding could happen until the timeline reverts back to normal.

I think I'd have to be committed of that happened.

After all the alternates we've had I'm sure they could manage something real for the movie. I'm not even saying I need a freakin' wedding (even if that would be awesome :D), all I'd need is confirmation of them together... a 'Shall we go home?' at the end of the movie from Jack to Sam while they walk off holding hands would be fine by me. Just confirmation after the implied resolution at the end of season 8 and continued hints dropped in seasons 9/10.

That one real scene would be enough. Granted, a kiss/shippy talk/shippy scenes/wedding would be perfect but I wouldn't want to ruin it for no-romos or antis so what I said previously would be fine as long as it was real!

Yeah i agree with that guy up above. The movie with Oneall is an alternate reality, and weve seen him married to carter in AU before. Hell he could be married to Tealc in an AU and it wouldnt matter.

I would love to see a Sam/Jack wedding but I'll believe it when I see it. Jack was hardly mentioned in Season 9 and 10 and maybe mentioned once by Sam. I can see a wedding in the last SG-1 Movie ever I just cannot see it for Continuum.

This is no offense, but then I hope we don't see that wedding for some time to come. Because personally, I'm hoping these movies can go on for at least a little while.:)

I would imagine Teal'c would have something to say about a Jack/Sam wedding! After all he was with Sam for what, sixty years, and he still remembers every single day of it! Not in an AU either. A Teal'c and Carter wedding would be great, I think they make a nice couple. :) There has always been a deep bond between those two and unlike some pairings they do at least have chemistry. I thought Unending showed just how close the two of them are.

It can be hard to tell whether they are joking or not coz they are such comical people. I hope they don't show the furlings. I like not knowing what they look like; it adds a kind of mystery to it all.

Na... I still prefer teal'c going off and marrying Ista of the Hac'tyl.

Actually the Sam/Teal'c thing didn't happen because it was an artistic decision made by the actors, TPTB didn't write it in so it wasn't a storyline.

However, if I wasn't a Sam/Jack fan I'd definitely be a Sam/Teal'c fan because I love their friendship and if there was no Jack would want them to take the relationship further. But first and foremost Jack does exist and I love the Sam/Jack romantic relationship and Sam/Teal'c friendship. :)

I thought there was supposed to be a hint of a Teal'c/Carter ship happening off screen?

What exactly are people refering to when they talk about this Teal'c/Sam moment in Unending? was is the hug he gave her after Landry died? If so people are reading into it way to much he was just comforting a friend when another friend died nothing more. They shared a similar moment in Paridise Lost when Carter though Jack was dead.

TPTB haver mentioned it aswell, JM said something about it, and I think there may be something on the DVD commentary too...

No, nothing like that was written in.

Yep, you're both correct here. When 'Unending' aired no one saw any possible romantic relationship between Sam/Teal'c. The hug as Major Griff correctly pointed out was one of comfort/support given from one friend to another.

However, that all changed when Amanda Tapping said in the commentries that her and Chris Judge thought it would be fun to add subtle hints of something more than friendship. However, it was just the actors playing it that way, which most saw as friendship given their history, TPTB did not write the relationship as such and did not write that storyline in either. So that was the long way round of saying 'No, a Sam/Teal'c relationship did not take place on or off screen'.

Indeed. And I'm pretty sure Cam/Landry had a little something going on too, seeing as they were the only pair left. I bet they used secret duck calls in bed and everything. "bawk bawk"

that's what i thought, but amanda said her and chris were hinting at a sam/teal'c relationship. being the HUGE sam/jack shipper that i am, that's 'no bloody way!' from me. :p

i much, MUCH prefer the sam-teal'c friendship. even after knowing amanda's take on the ep, i still see a sam-teal'c friendship vibe.

~but the commentary ruined the ep for me, so i've erased it, in more ways than one :p~

here's hoping for a sam/jack wedding in 'continuum'!!! :D

Sam/Teal together. I think not. Sam/Teal'c and Sam/Daniel are Friends and more like Brother and Sister regardless of the Actors take in Unending.

A Jack and Sam wedding? Oh god I hope not!
That don't need that in the films. It was bad enough in the series and I really hope they don't bring it up again.

Hints in season 9 and 10? What show have you been watching?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but any confirmation would annoy the anti-shippers. And I think the writers know that. They aren't stupid. I expect that they will continue to play the Sam/Jack... thing the same way they have been... vague enough that shippers (like yourself) see "hints" whereas anti-shippers (like myself) have no idea what you're talking about. If they keep the issue vague, than both sides can read whatever they want into it. They're walking a tightrope in order to make sure they don't totally alienate any portion of their audience.

And given the sense of humor of TPTB, I'd bet that they were joking (or referring back to "200"). Besides, who has time for a wedding when you're trying to save the galaxy and restore the time line... wait, don't answer that, I just had disturbing flashes of Moebius in my head. *shudders*
