Comic Con: SCI FI Coverage Competes w/ G4

SCI FI Channel is competing head-to-head, toe-to-toe w/ G4's Attack of The Show this year. For several years, Attack of the Show has broadcast extensive live Comic Con coverage. This year G4 will be competing w/ SCI FI Channel and SCI FI.com for eye-balls.

SCIFI.com’s coverage allows fans to “virtually attend” the convention through daily news summaries, video coverage, updated photo galleries and more. The channel has five camera crews on site and six reporters positioned throughout the convention.

Judging from the article, G4 will be doing 4 hours of coverage on the event, while SciFi will put up a few videos. If only they'd do a one hour special on SciFi Channel on it.... I've already been checking out extensive photo coverage on Flickr - by the time the weekend is over, wouldn't be surprised if there are a thousand shots up by then :)

Do wish Skiffy would actually advertise this on their own site....

Multichannel also has another article on it at

The Stargate Atlantis event at 1:15pm should be a real eye-opener. This year marks the first time ever that Amanda Tapping will be joining the Atlantis panel. Former Firefly / Serenity star Jewel Staite will also share her excitement about joining the SGA team…. AND don't forget about some of our favorite Atlantis veterans, Joe Flanigan & David Hewlett, who will also be on hand.

Ah, nice they remembered the folks who have been on the show for 3 years too.... ;)
