Heh, I like zombie movies. I thought I might as well start a thread about them:
FLIGHT OF THE DEAD (PRE-PRODUCTION):
Flight of the Dead is apparently about an airliner flying two 'dead' zombies to their home country. I think it's pretty much a given that these zombies aren't as dead as they though. I've read that they've got studio space because Mission: Impossible 3 has been delayed, so they start filming soon. Probably for a release date of next year.
DAWN OF THE DEAD (DVD):
This years remake of Dawn of the Dead is released on DVD in the U.S. and other countries around the world next month. It tells a story of a group of survivors seeking refuge in a shopping mall after an outbreak of zombies. This DVD is being released with a Widescreen or Full Screen Theatrical Version as well as Director's Cut. The Director's Cut will have nine minutes of extra footage intergrated into the movie. For some reason only the Director's Cut is being released in Australia. I'll be getting that when it's released next month.
LAND OF THE DEAD (PRE-PRODUCTION):

Land of the Dead is the new sequel to the Night of the Living Dead trilogy. It's about a group of survivors living in a walled up city, who wants to bet that the zombies infiltrate the city? Sounds like we'll be getting this movie next year, and it's apparently going to have social messages like the original Dawn of the Dead movie. (Which I haven't seen)
SHAUN OF THE DEAD (NEW RELEASE):

The British movie is being released in some countries around the world such as the U.S. and Australia. It's a romantic comedy/horror/zombie movie. It's apparently good. I'm not a fan of British movies, but the trailer is pretty cool.
RESIDENT EVIL 3 (PRE-PRODUCTION):
There are rumours that the new Resident Evil movie is already in pre-production.
