    Carter's Role Confirmed... spoila!

    Just in case you missed it....

    Episode 11, season 4

    Spoiler:
    The Daedalus and Apollo, two of Earth's battlecruisers, orbit the planet over Atlantis. On board the Daedalus, Colonel Carter is working at the Asgard Hermiod's former work station. As she reviews some recent modifications to the ship, Colonel Caldwell engages her in conversation. The two talk about her new command of the Atlantis base, which Sam tells him is going well ... though she didn't realize how much she would miss being out in the field on an SG team.

    So long Dr. Weir. At least for now, Atlantis is in VERY capable hands. Let the flames begin (from the Weir fans)

              Haha, I can't even describe my feeling when I read that a few hours ago...I had hopes that Weir would be a certain way since the beginning, but they never really materialized, so I don't really have a problem with her leaving, etc. Great actress, crappy part in my opinion.

              Having Sam on Atlantis will be great, I can't wait for the McKay/Carter interactions...man, so long until Season 4...

                        Originally I was against both Carter moving to Atlantis and Carter potentially taking over Atlantis, but I now think it will be a good thing, I'm now more amped than ever to see the new season, I can't believe we're going to have to wait so long to see the new season.
