Surfers Paradise is the ideal location for Gatecon OZ. Set on the beautiful Gold Coast in Queensland Australia, with the perfect climate, long sandy beaches, the best theme parks in the country and a million-and-one other activities to choose from.

There's exactly one year to the day before Gatecon OZ. Why are we announcing it so early you ask... We know holidays have to be planned in advance and money needs to be saved. We would like to give you as much notice as possible so you can plan for the perfect holiday location, and the perfect convention experience.

I have signed up also and having just come back from a con in Vancouver, I know we are going to have a great time. It will certainly be interesting to see who they can get out here. Maybe David Hewlitt will come and we can organise a screening of "A Dogs Breakfast". I didn't get to see it in Vancouver, so if we all get on his site and request a screening for it in Surfers you never know.

That would be great. I hope the Gold tickets stick around for a while, don't think i want to but one while i am still over here in the US as i might need the money. Would love to go though. Found out today i have enough rewards points on my VISA card to get me to Brisbane and back

sad, that we wont be getting current SGA actors, but that still means we can get SG1

Hi all
I gave in and bought a VIP ticket!! Well maybe gave in isn't the right way to say it, i had my parent's check my bank account balance as i am still in the US, and with the news that i still had heaps of money (LOL) I got a ticket. Didn't want to miss out, not since Dan Payne is coming!!
