OK, here's something I'd like to see in a future episode:

Sam invents some new kind of technology - using her knowledge and experience with the myriad of different alien (and Earth) technologies over the years. She integrates them together and extrapolates something new.

On Stargate, we keep seeing that humans are technologically (and evolutionarily) behind the 'more advanced' races such as the Asgard, Nox, Ancients, Ascended, etc. On Stargate, we keep seeing Sam (and the other Earth scientists) struggling to try and understand and figure out the technology of these more advanced races.

So... what I'd like to see is Sam doing what she does so exceptionally well - open to the ideas of others... accepting, understanding and integrating and extrapolating. And then I'd like to see her invent something completely *new* and *very cool* - using all that she's been exposed to - and her innate intelligence.

Wouldn't it be great to have Thor inspecting Sam's new technology... and his response is along the lines of what it was when the Replicators pulled out of that Black Hole? He would admit that *he* didn't understand how it worked.

Sam would be surprised, of course, because she tends to be self-deprecating - and she is completely OK with Thor calling her ideas 'dumb'. (McKay saying the same thing, she wouldn't take as easily... but Thor, the Asgard, she's more than willing to admit their 'advanced' experience).

So that's my idea/hope for a future episode. Sam integrates and extrapolates from the various alien technologies that the SGC has encountered over the years - and Sam invents something completely new - and *very cool*. Maybe... an interdimensional ship? Or a new way to use the Stargate? Or some kind of defense shield for the Earth (I really like that one)? Or a new kind of ship - with a *very small* engine, but it can travel between galaxies - and is a nimble little ship that pilots (adrenaline junkies) *love* to fly? Or something else... but something *really cool*... and something that the Asgards and the Nox and any other advanced race out there would be impressed by!

And - *Sam* invents it (without Tokra assistance). Maybe along the lines of the particle accelerator... she gets obessessed with the idea... spends all of her free time over the past year on it...?

Go Sam!

And, since she invented it, she gets to test fly it! (And have fun!)

More than one director has said that when they don't know who to put the camera on for a closing shot they turn to Amanda. She has such great facial expressions and those eyes....

it's ME! Yes, I am on, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!?!?!?

I'm still alive! In a manner of speaking...

I'm sorry I kind of dropped off the face of the Earth... It feels the exact opposite to me, as if the world was dropped on ME! literally 19 hour days. In addition to the millions of tasks/activities/work things etc. I've had a constant throbbing headache from no sleep for the past 3 weeks, so going on the computer lots its appeal in that while, as well some horrible things have happened in the past while to two of my friends, seperately... i've been trying to help them as much as I can.

I see you guys have certainly been on a high! About 2000 posts since I was last here....

There's no plausible way I could catch up in the next... long time, so I guess I'll have to be hopelessly behind and out-of-the-loop, especially joke-wise, until I can!

I have heard that we've sent Amanda some flowers and chocolaaate!!!

I'm sure she'll love them!!!

I've been asked about my play... thanks for you questions, it's going GREAT!!! We performed in Festival last Saturday, the last night of the whole thing, and, although we expected nothing (loong story) my really good friend who was the techy got the awards (trophy plaque things) for both Lighting and Sound.

I'm so proud of him! And the Festival venue didn't even have all the lights we're having for the real show... as well the Director/writer, whom I look up to very much, recieved 3 "special" awards (I think every festival i've been to has had some fun specific award things

i've got some myself!)

Our full actual run is all of next week, been doing promotions and such all this week, as well as a little special thing on Monday, heh, I'm looking very forward to that.

As well today my jazz and concert bands as well as at chamber choir and jazz ensemble performed for a horde of elementary music students

it was SOOO fun!!! We had a whole Blues Brothers shindig going on, and movie music and crazy drum solos and such. Good times!

Well, exciting thing for me, I recently found a link to a trailer, yes, live moving clips, from the mysterious movie Stuck!!! Since 2002 i've been searching crazily for anything related to it, but it got shelved, and I haven't been able to

I wonder what she's saying, lol.

If anyone wants to see the trailer, e-mail me and i'll send it over!
