    When and why Wraith stop war witch Ancients

    Then, when Ancients was living at Atlantis, Wraith want's to destroy Atlantis.

    And everybody knows, that ancestors sink their citys. And after that (we dont know, how mutch time they spend in bottom of ocean, they could live years there). And after that when they realize, they can not win or stop war others ascent and others return back to earth.

    But how long you think that Wraith was warstation around Atlantis orbit? How long they fired empty city?

    The ancients may have only sunk atlantis to our knowledge. The also may have left soon after believing the city had sunk or they stayed for a while until they were sure there was no activity, we cant be sure exactly.

      Well with the water diffusing the shots, and the ZPM only powering one room & the shield, they could've been firing for years. Maybe it was only after that they hadn't seen an ancient or ancient ship in decades that they called off the assault.

      Or maybe when the Wraith saw that all of the lights went out, they figured that the Lanteans were either sleeping or gone, so the Wraith went home.

            I think that Atlantis was out of the reach of the Wraith at the bottom of the ocean.They couldn't do anything to destroy it and they saw them as no threat anymore.Even if they fired all their weapons AND they managed to reach all the way through the water the Ancients had lots of ZPMs to defend the city if need and the Wraith just couldn't get them.So...they left.

              well after bombarding their space for years and then eventually realising that no drones or ships were attacking them, then they knew the war was over.


              in my opinion the ancients gave up pretty early they were only 60 hives away from 'possible' victory

                They had very few drones...and they were in control of every stargate possibly in the galaxy...

                Somehow I doubt the Ancients gave up too early. Remember, we were prepared to destroy Atlantis and only didn't when we received reinforcements.
