I think you all are missing something .spoilers

I see all these posts about "when could they have become cylons?", (the four) especially about Col. Tigh. However, weren't every single one of those people on New Caprica? I know everyone was with the possible exception of the presidents aide (just cant remember). It would be especially easy with ol' Tigh with just a switcheroo in the cell while he was a prisoner of the cylons. And the others? Well, they could have been switched at any time while they were on New Caprica.

New Caprica is going to be the series plot device for the rest of the series.

as for tigh if he was switch you would think his programing would have kicked in by now?? he walked out of the room and took his place as XO like he has since the miniseries.

Yes, this is obvious. Maybe that's why all those people commented on it in all those other threads.

Nope...I can blow this theory out of the water with this simple fact:

The other 7 models of "skin jobs" (besides the now "boxed #3") do NOT know what the final five cylon models look like.

In order for them to have been switch by the cylons on new caprica--it would mean that they would have known what they looked like.

        Basic Vulcan logic...

And oh, Torry (president's aide) was on the surface...but then again so was Starbuck..

Yeah it seems people forget that the Final Five Cylons are DIFFERENT than the other Cylons.

People also seem to forget that the "regular" 7 Cylons have never seen the Final Five except for one number three.

Besides, I don't think the "Final" five and the seven (we really need to come up with some better names ) are on the same side. The five seem to be making contact with the colonials more than the other cylons. Something obviously happened between the two groups to make them stop talking to each other.

Tigh is a simple backstory. Towards the end of the 1st cylon war he gets Captured or killed and the cylons make the first skin job.

I think many are missing the point. The NEVER was a "real" Saul Tigh, or a "real" Anders, Tori, or Tyrol for that matter. They weren't "captured and replaced" because there were never any originals to replace. They are and have always been Cylons.

its also possible that the five were considered flawed, and whoever created created cylons didnt want the normal seven to be i dont know, perhaps more free-thinking? like D'anna became free thinking, and not united with the others, so they boxed her.

its also possible that one of the seven (perhaps cavil) does know, but is not allowed to tell, which could be another reason why he boxed d'anna.

                      you don't know that.

never rely on character character analysis.

                      oh wait.

I agree with you. I was just saying that if they had to, it would be super easy to make a story for Saul Tigh.

"its also possible that the five were considered flawed" <-- That must of been one hell of a troubleshoot session. At what point did the Cylons realize that the bus for the Final Five was a little short?

Tyrol: Religious -- has memories of dancing around with porn mags.
Tori: Politics -- throws an election.
Tigh: Military -- Drunk 1st officer on a ship turned into a museum.
Anders: Well at least the boy can play hoops.

It appears that the four of the final five did a really poor job of getting to the core of the Colonial Social/Political structure.

Didn't RDM flat-out say that there was no body swapping on New Caprica? Although the possibility HAS been mentioned numerous times in various threads, so the statement that we're "ALL" missing something is wrong.

Assuming that Tigh's memories of the war were real, he must have been created before the Cylons rebelled. But that is a rather large assumption. It is possible that his memories of that time were fabricated.
