Winona in Dominion?

If anyone has seen farscape the character John Chriton has a pulse pistol he named winona. I was watching the season 10 episode dominion and in the scene where.....(spoilers ahead)......

vala is in the tavern when she has just won the card game and everyone pulls guns on her, the gun pointed at her head from behind is a farscape pulse pistol. Did anyone else notice this? I tried to find screencaps but i couldnt.

I think it was this gun that was being used.

There is a striking resemblance to Winona though, I thought so when I first saw Ties That Bind.

It's got a grip and barrel but that's where the resemblance stopts for me

I think Joe M. admitted in a post from awhile back that the gun that Vala used in "The Ties That Bind" was modeled after a pulse pistol as a nod to Farscape. The one in Dominion looks very similar.

It does look alot like Winona doesnt it.

There is definitely some resemblance IMO.

It does look a bit like a pulse pistol in the rear of the weapon, but the barrel is different. Joe M does seem to be a bit of a Scaper though. I have read a few of his blogs giving nods to Farscape.
