Teal'c, the date is displayed based on your local system date. Maybe double-check it!

Teal'c, if you work out what the problem is, can you tell the Hotmail staff how to fix it. They keep passing me e-mails that were written, aparrently, on 19th September 2004. :S

DownFallAngel, Darren is right, orginally it was "CS-12," then "C-12." I think they have finally settled on "Cold Station 12," but they could easily change it at the last minute, seeing as they have before.

Ratings for Storm Front (1) have come in. Its a 2.5/4.0

This is a 20% drop from Season 3's Zero Hour. This is due entirely to the presidental debate, and for others, due to the Yankees/Twins Game 4(or 5, I forget which one).

In comments/spoilers for the episode Affliction it said "a mysterious plague will reportedly begin to spread throughout the Klingon empire". I'm wondering if this is what cause them to go from bumpy forehead to flat forehead. So later maybe they found the cure and got their bumpy foreheads back again.

I know the popular explaination is that Gene wanted to bumpy foreheads all along but they just didn't have the budget for it back in TOS. Oh well, only another 3 months to wait until we find out anyway...

Yes, quality is great, but ratings are not, and companies are only looking at ratings. And now with SG1 competeing with ST:E, ST:E will be put to the true test, of which is the best scifi.

(P.S. I'll be watching ST:E knowing that SG1 will repeat @ 11pm!)

Me too. :)

I really hope it works out that way. That SG1's ratings get like 75% higher during the 11pm re-run, to show the shift from ST:E at 8 to SG1 at 11.

I hope ST:E's ratings continue to grow, and that SG1's does alright at 8, but soar at 11pm.

Alex Rubit
January 8th, 2005, 02:57 PM
I hope so too. The other good thing is that ST: E and SG-1 won't be airing new episodes at the same dates that often. Because when SG-1's season is finished in March, ST: E will still be running until May. So they'll be on at the same time mostly during January and February, and not for an entire season.

I hesitated over the "Affliction" rating, but ultimately as a Part 1 it seemed to be missing something. I did love the augments tie-in.

I actually completely missed "The Aenar." I was so tied up in SG and BSG that weekend that I forgot until the following Monday that the finale of the 3-episode arc had aired. And I'm a hardcore Trek fan. What a sad thing for the state of Star Trek ...

some news concerning the finale that I read on TrekToday forums

-possibly named: These Are the voyages
(aka The Wrath of Berman and Braga)

-it sucks, which is likely, as B&B are writing it
-Riker and Troi are in 1/3 of it
-The whole ep is a holodeck simulation on the Enterprise-D (YES, the Enterprise D)
-Trip dies
-shran is in it

That's going to really suck and I use to be hardcore treky fan once but I have had enough.

I really hope it is not anything like that. It doesn't sound like something B&B would write. I'll beleive it when TrekWeb confirms it. TrekToday has been known to get false sources.

What's more is that it was on the Forums, not an actual news item. Anyone can post anything. In case you are curious, here is what I want the Finale to me (although it might not be popular.

(Just in case)Riker and Troi are onboard the Titan and somehow (maybe even to their children, although not sure I want that) they begin talking about Enterprise. They tell us of Captain Archer's missions, which we see through both old and new footage, sort of a retrospect of Enterprise's missions, leading all the way up to the founding of the Federation. It ends with a view of the stars and a sign of hope.

Yea, I'm not going to ask Darren to add that because it is by far the ****tiest episode ever penned. Instead of ending it on a high note B&B destroyed all of season 4. They suck. I hope they rot and die!

He dies, but it takes place six years in the future. Or so TV Guide says.
