SCI FI presents the all-new fifth season of Andromeda! Kevin Sorbo (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) stars as Captain Dylan Hunt, and Brandy Ledford (The Invisible Man) joins the cast as the new avatar of his ship, the Andromeda Ascendant. If you thought the adventure was over, think again — it's only just begun....

Season Five begins Friday, Sept. 24
New Episodes every Friday at 7PM ET/PT

    ANDROMEDA TUESDAYS

Whether you're new to Andromeda or a longtime fan who just can't get enough of Captain Dylan Hunt and company, our Tuesday-night blocks of classic Andromeda episodes are just what you've been waiting for! Catch up on the first four seasons of Gene Roddenberry's visionary action-adventure series, then come back on Fridays to watch all-new Season Five episodes, premiering only on SCI FI!

    Tuesdays from 7PM – 11PM ET/PT, starting Sept. 28

    SCI FI PREMIERE: BEASTMASTER

BeastMaster, based on André Norton's novel The Beast Master, chronicles the adventures of Dar, the last surviving male of the storied Sula tribe, who is blessed with the ability to communicate telepathically with the animals of his ancient world. Also endowed with the strength, courage and fighting skills of a great warrior, he uses his gifts to defend all living creatures oppressed by the forces of evil.

    Monday – Friday at 5PM ET/PT, starting Sept. 27

SCI FI PICTURES WORLD PREMIERE: DARKLIGHT (LBX)

Shiri Appleby (TV's Roswell), Richard Burgi (The Sentinel, the SCI FI Pictures original Decoys), John de Lancie (Q from the Star Trek franchise) and David Hewlett (Stargate Atlantis, Cube) star in this action drama about an ancient demoness who unwittingly holds the key to preventing the release of a plague that could destroy all human life.

    Premieres Saturday, Sept. 18, at 9PM ET/PT

SCI FI PREMIERE: MONKEY SHINES: AN EXPERIMENT IN FEAR

A quadriplegic regains his sense of hope when he is given an experimental, genetically engineered monkey trained to obey his every wish and help him live independently. Unfortunately, it's not long before the animal takes on a murderous mind of its own — and begins to act out his master's repressed rage toward those around him. George A. Romero, who revolutionized movie horror with his classic Night of the Living Dead, directed this suspenseful feature.

    Premieres Sunday, Sept. 5, at 9:30PM ET/PT

    SCI FI PREMIERE: THE PHANTOM

The masked hero of Lee Falk's long-running comic strip springs into action as he travels from Africa to New York City in order to battle a wealthy madman with a plot to rule the world. And those are the best kinds of wealthy madmen. This live-action, family-friendly adventure stars Billy Zane (Titanic, the SCI FI Pictures original Silent Warnings) as the titular hero, along with Treat Williams (Prince of the City, Deep Rising), Kristy Swanson (the big-screen Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Oscar-winner Catherine Zeta-Jones (Chicago, The Mask of Zorro).

    Premieres Saturday, Sept. 11, at 9PM ET/PT

SCI FI PREMIERE: ESCAPE FROM L.A.

In 2013, after Los Angeles has become a sealed-off penal colony for society's worst criminals, amoral adventurer Snake Plissken is smuggled into the prison by top government officials in order to recover a doomsday device. Kurt Russell (the movie Stargate) returns as Snake in director John Carpenter's follow-up to his Escape from New York. Stacy Keach (John Carpenter Presents Body Bags), Steve Buscemi (Armageddon), Bruce Campbell (Sam Raimi's Evil Dead trilogy) and Pam Grier (Friday Foster, Foxy Brown, Ghosts of Mars) also star.

    Premieres Saturday, Sept. 25, at 9PM ET/PT

So in other words, nothing to watch.

    Tsk tsk tsk. So sad.

I'm just waiting for FARSCAPE and BSG(N).

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

I did no such thing. I was talking about the summer/fall without SG1/SGA. We all know SG1/SGA is holding SciFi alive. But until BSG and FARSCAPE come along, we have nothing to watch.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

Wow... Sci Fi needs to work on their scheduling a bit- at least The Flintstones weren't featured on that list. I don't really consider some of that stuff on the "Classics" list actual classics.

RIP Stargate SG-1: The iris may be closed, but the gate will always be spinning, lighting the chevrons in my heart

And to the Sci Fi Channel...
