    What would everyone bring with them if they were going to Atlantis?? I'd bring a Tim Horton's with me.... Can't live without the coffee.. LOL.

    What do you think the characters brought with them to help make their stay more comfertable. We all know what Sheppard brought... game of football!!.

    My first Thread post pls write a reply so I get some self-esteem boost here... LOL just kidding.

    well, I suppose it would be hard for me to get my internet connection in atlantis. Although browsing the Lantean Database would be a nice alternitave to the time wasting i do here on earth.

    I reckon i'd take my Poker chip set with me. I'm sure others would take things like TV's and DVD's etc, so i could borrow them if i needed a Media fix or two.

      A sack of spuds.

      Apart from loving them ,I'd get a foothold in the potato industry long before McDonald's or Burger King could show up. I'd have a McSaber or Saber King on every planet.

          I believe John brought a guitar. At least that's what they keep saying in fanfics and I heard someone mention it being seen in his room once. That or it was just fanfic again.

            I couldn't go without a guitar. I think I did notice Sheppard have one.. either that or I'm being mislead because of his Johnny Cash poster

              My laptop if you know why I'd bring it.
              Calvin grows up to be Frazz. The logical continuation of this is, of course, that Frazz then grows up to be Edward Norton's character from Fight Club. And thus, all four of these characters are gods.Let's go one more step. Calvin grows up to be Jeremy, who grows up to be Frazz, who grows up to be "Tyler Durden," while Suzie grows up to be Haruhi Suzumiya; since Kyon becomes The Doctor, this leads to the inescapable conclusion that after the end of Fight Club, Calvin becomes Captain Jack.

                      My little box of precious things, that are all non electrical and have sentimental value rather than monetary, pretty much everything else I have is electrical, but in the case of being able to bring electrics, I'd take my DS lite

                        As for Shep having a guitar, I'm pretty sure we saw that in 'The Return I' when he was talking to Ronon and Teyla in his room.

                        Concerning my personal item, I'd hate to leave a lot of stuff behind but if I could bring my twin sister with me, I'd definitely go for that!!!

                        Yet, since this is more in the line of hireing sophisticated extra personell , I'd take with me my copy of "Legend of a Wolf Song" by George Stone. Fantastic book, even to read over and over and over again. And I will most likely sneak in my copy of "Rilke - all poems" even if I had to put in in my sleeve...

                          I would agree with you it would be hard to leave my VERY large collection of books behind. Something that could take me away mentally when things got crazy.

                            I was watching a Hockey game last night Florida @ Vancover when during an intermission they had an interview with Jim Bryne (actor for whom I remeber most from Highlander the series, he's also a blues singer) and he mentioned that he's working on a new pilot called "sanctuary" from the producers of Stargate... I tried goole-ing it and looked on the imdb website but couldn't validate this info....

                            If anyone hears anything else pls post.... perhaps SGI spin-off name??

                              my computer, its somewhat primitive compared to atlantis but with some rigging of some ancient tech

                              hehe, my computer......basically my whole bedroom, everything i hold dearly is in there, so my 3 star trek models (non of these serves any real purpose but more sentimental things) my bed.....and my computer and my dog, sounds cheesy i know, but u need mans best friend while searching through millions of years of ancient data dont ya.........................so those 3 grouped things
